Meet Juno seer-class, divine-adjacent, and one decision away from a disciplinary on any given Tuesday. Welcome to the Company, an oh-so-British bureaucracy that files incident reports on eldritch hazards, negotiates with divine egos, and keeps the magic-adjacent digital paperwork.
There were so many characters to play with in this book. Not only did I get to voice the narrator, who was very much a character in themselves, but I got to voice everything from Death itself, to unpredictable goddesses, all the way to a sentient talking cat. Playing with pitch, characterisation, and knowing the characters inside out was key here; it was my job to make sure that the reader knew exactly who was on the page as they listened.
