Tethered to You
Tethered To You is a dark fantasy visual novel about finding passion despite pressure to succeed. In this world, aspiring magicians must find a source for their power: a pact, or tether, with a patron - a devoted follower of any powerful deity.
Voicing Haela was such an incredibly fun and rewarding experience. The team at Stella Noctis Games are very much character-driven, and this meant that I was able to get to play a character with a brilliant amount of depth. She’s incredibly emotionally guarded, and initially comes across as quite removed - I really had to think about where we were in her story for each line, and just how much of her real self she was willing to show the player. Choosing the correct tone, pacing, and pitch was key to telling her story effectively depending on the chapter and moment.
